Wild Leap Hosts Beer Launch Party in Downtown LaGrange
Wild Leap Brew Co. is proud to announce the release of its first two craft beers to the local market. To celebrate the release of their new IPA and blonde ale, Wild Leap will host a launch party on Main Street in LaGrange on Friday, February 24.
For their first launch, the Wild Leap team felt it was important to involve the community – and especially the downtown LaGrange businesses that have supported them from the beginning. That’s why the event will take place at not one but five local restaurants. Each will feature the new Wild Leap selections on tap, along with their own special pint glass to commemorate the night. The Wild Leap team will be spending time at each restaurant to say thank you. Their schedule is below:
6:00pm – 7:00pm at Venucci, 129 Main Street
7:00pm – 8:00pm at Mighty Joe’s Pizza, 101 Lafayette Parkway
8:00pm – 9:00pm at Mare Sol, 124 Main Street B.
9:00pm – 10:00pm at Main Street Pub, 120 Main Street
10:00pm – 11:00pm at Brickhouse Grille, 141 Main Street
Patrons are invited to be among the first to lift a pint of ale with the founders of LaGrange’s hometown brewery. In turn, the Wild Leap team will have lots of giveaways to hand out – from custom beer koozies to stickers and more – to show their support.
The new Wild Leap blonde ale will be called Local Gold. Head brewer Chris Elliott describes it as “dry, crisp, light and refreshing” hybrid style beer that is enjoyable anytime. The new India Pale Ale (IPA) features a tropical, citrusy aroma and flavor with a hop blend of grapefruit, melon and passionfruit. It will be called Chance IPA.
The Wild Leap team is also pleased to announce that their two new beers can now be found on tap at fine establishments in the local six-county region. Starting the week of February 20, both selections will be available in Coweta, Fayette, Harris, Heard, Meriwether and Troup counties.
The founders look forward to meeting their neighbors and toasting the first fruits of their labor with their hometown. The launch party is also a great way for the community to whet their appetites as work progresses on the new Wild Leap Brewery in downtown LaGrange.
