Wild Leap Earns Five 2022 ADI International Spirits Competition Awards
Wild Leap Craft Beverages has been internationally recognized with five prestigious 2022 American Distilling Institute International Spirits awards from the renowned Distiller Magazine.
In the Bottled & Blended Category, Wild Leap has earned both Best of Class and Best of Category for their Ready-to-Drink cocktails. Additionally in this category, they won a Double Gold Medal for their Premium Vodka Cocktail Strawberry Mango and two Silver Medals for their handcrafted Wild Leap Vodka and Premium Vodka Cocktail Creamsicle Mojito.
The 15th annual ADI International Spirits Competition judged 950 entries from 295 distilleries and 34 countries in this year’s competition. Only 2% of entries earned a Double Gold Award, 8% earned a Gold Award, 35% earned a Silver Award, and 32% earned Bronze Medals.
The awards land on a program that started out of necessity. Wild Leap became a distillery in 2019, and set out to build cocktails worth putting next to the spirits. When COVID closed the taproom for several months in March 2020, customers and retailers pushed for a way to get those cocktails outside the building — and the ready-to-drink line was born. The recognition arrives as Wild Leap prepares to open a new brewery and distillery in downtown Atlanta.
Wild Leap will open their newest location in Atlanta’s Centennial Yards in early fall of 2022.
